The map below is of the Guadalajara hotspots and you can check for yourself on the Interactive Map link. I would also check with locals that might be using Kindle Wireless to make sure you don’t have to drive to a more central location. The map does indicate that there is wireless access in the Lake Chapala (slower speed) area and much of Mexico. I’ve received a number of good reports from the Chapala area concerning wireless access. Do check with Amazon about an extra fee when downloading from a country different than your device registration.
