This is my first drive down into Mexico starting April 2005 - and the start of my retirement. I didn't take many fotos of Baja because I didn't find any tourists camping along the way. Rather than camping on the beaches alone I stayed in towns and headed for La Paz and the Ferry to the mainland. La Paz is a pretty nice little town and I stayed there 2 nights before taking the ferry. A number of the fotos are of the Baja ferry, the ticket office and the port facilities in Pichilinque. I got into Topolombampo after 11 PM and into a motel in Los Moches around midnight (hence no fotos). I took off early for Mazatlan early, staying there over a week before heading south to the Costalegre in Jalisco.
