Just past the Hawaii Kai Post Office you'll see the street sign below. Turn up the hill to the end of the street (no trailhead markers or parking). Actually all housing projects built on a ridge will have good starting points for other ridge hikes.  You can really go for miles on these trails but be careful when they are wet.
