After 3-4 days in Chapala and Ajijic I hopped a bus to Guadalajara and then into Tlaquepaque for 2 days before heading to Patzcuaro via Morelia.  The shops in the Tlaquepaque Plaza area are very exclusive and expensive but the stuff is cool to look at from the pedestrian only streets.  The Plaza is filled with a large ring of restaurants with tables both outside and in.  There was a 'Fun Run' ending in the Plaza the day I was there.

The second day I took a taxi downtown Guadalajara and got these pictures but I really need to make another extended visit to this very large and interesting city.  On day three I took a bus to Morelia on way to Patzcuaro.
