I took a taxi from the Guadalajara airport and spent one night in Chapala. Could find nobody in the hotel I was looking for so ended up spending about $75 at the "QQ"  Quint's  Quetzalcoatl (those guys are nuts as you see - but nice). Next two nights I moved over to Ajijic
