| Mexico City - Downtown I commuted into El Centro Mexico City via metro, taxi or bus. My amiga worked in the city government offices on the Zocolo directly across from the Cathedral.. Actually went to 2 city council meetings with her, the mayor, police chief, fire chief and many others. Waiters in white jackets serving coffee and cookies. Had to leave the second meeting early because it was just boring - kind of amazing the first time. Also came down on a few weekends to help with the educational programs they would set up on the Zocolo. |
