Manzanillo, Colima - March 2006

We stayed at Motel Maria Cristina in Santiago, just north of Manzanillo, the last night of a 5 day trip to the highlands. Visited the area south of downtown around the power plant and the lagoon inflows and outflows - pretty amazing engineering to circulate the water like they do.  Don't know how they use the water or how/if it's processed - but it must be used for power production.
Also got some good fotos of the central mercado and the new downtown portales with no construction going on.
